"Musa lateritas once again proved to be the best performing banana plants in my garden growing to their full potential and bloom in just four month season. Planted in early June as a rooted rhizomes they reached 7-10 feet tall plants forming clumps of 5-8 blooming stalks. Very low maintenance and easy to overwinter keeping clumps dry and cool. The only bummer is he fruit itself. If only fruits were edible and growing season long enough I would be able to snack on bananas for many months.
