Bulgarian journalist reveals new details about misuse of diplomatic flights and transferring weaponry to terrorists in Syria

Azerbaijan state airline company was regularly transporting tons of cheap Bulgarian and East European weaponry to Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Turkey, under diplomatic cover as part of the CIA covert program. These weapons were found inside underground terrorist warehouses belonging to Al Nusra Front, Al Qaeda affiliate in Syria designated as a terrorist organization by the UN. The US modus operandi was the same: using bases in the satellite countries, abuse of diplomatic channels, and dirty politics directed against Russia, Iran and Syria.

In December 2016, a Bulgarian investigative journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva was among the first reporters who visited liberated neighborhoods of the eastern Aleppo. There, inside underground terrorist warehouses belonging to Al Nusra Front (Al Qaeda affiliate in Syria designated as a terrorist organization by the UN), she found weapons manufactured at the Bulgarian arms factory VMZ-Sopot, along with other weaponry of German and American origin. Furthermore, the large amount of accompanied documentation found in these arms storages provided details about manufacturers' and transporters' names. The Russian Foreign Ministry immediately sent an official protest to the governments of these countries, while further clarification was sought from the Bulgarian authorities.

US military lied - they used uranium bullets in Syria

"Earlier in the campaign, both coalition and U.S. officials said the ammunition had not and would not be used."

"Officials have now confirmed that the U.S. military, despite vowing not to use depleted uranium weapons on the battlefield in Iraq and Syria, fired thousands of these rounds."

"U.S. Central Command (Centcom) spokesman Maj. Josh Jacques told Airwars and Foreign Policy that 5,265 armor-piercing 30 mm rounds containing depleted uranium (DU) were shot from Air Force A-10 fixed-wing aircraft on Nov. 16 and Nov. 22, 2015"

"In March 2015, coalition spokesman John Moore said, “U.S. and coalition aircraft have not been and will not be using depleted uranium munitions in Iraq or Syria during Operation Inherent Resolve.” Later that month, a Pentagon representative told War is Boring that A-10s deployed in the region would not have access to armor-piercing ammunition containing depleted uranium."

US fired depleted uranium at civilian areas in 2003 Iraq war, report finds

US forces fired depleted uranium (DU) weapons at civilian areas and troops in Iraq in breach of official advice meant to prevent unnecessary suffering in conflicts, a report has found.

Coordinates revealing where US jets and tanks fired nearly 10,000 DU rounds in Iraq during the war in 2003 have been obtained by the Dutch peace group Pax. This is the first time that any US DU firing coordinates have been released, despite previous requests by the United Nations Environment Programme and the Iraqi government.
