How the press got this so wrong.

Fake news from the New York Times:
"California Braces for Unending Drought"

UNENDING.

"LOS ANGELES — With California entering its fifth year of a statewide drought, Gov. Jerry Brown moved on Monday to impose permanent water conservation measures and called on water suppliers to prepare for a future made drier by climate change."

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/10/us/california-drought-water-restrictions-permanent.html

Then USA Today ran this:

"Causes of Calif. drought natural, not man-made: NOAA

Some easily discredited, poorly researched schmucks claim that California's drought is not caused by global warming. And by schmucks, I mean the NOAA."

http://www.usatoday.com/story/weather/2014/12/08/california-drought-cause-noaa/20095869/

Then it rained for a year.

It was just more global warming #FakeNews and anybody up to and including the NY Times does this. No media outlet is immune and all as suspect. Either a story is true or it isn't and this has nothing to do with who they are.

Actually the Daily Mail get more climate stuff right than anyone which is awkward. Maybe they're not worth bribing or maybe because they're the only profitable newspaper they can't be bribed.

But, a month before the LA times posted this the mail wrote:

"Is California's drought finally over? Apr 21, 2016 - Officials in California are calling for an end to emergency drought restrictions requiring residents to make steep cuts in their water use after ..."
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3551862/Is-California-s-drought-finally-Officials-call-end-emergency-cuts-water-use-March-miracle-rainfall.html

Now, it's obvious at this point the Mail was right the NYTimes wrong about Global Warming based on the scientific evidence. But who would believe that in the day?

What if I told you newspapers are paid to run fake climate news?

"The Telegraph also understands that there are concerns within The Guardian about funded journalism on its website.

It confirmed that it is in discussions with the European Climate Foundation "regarding the funding of journalism projects". The foundation lobbies for climate"
