The Olympic Torch Passes Through

The atmosphere in the coffee shop turned festive and crowded during buildup to the Olypic torch passing through Toronto.

Led by a big Royal Bank truck, and a Coke truck which were decked out in lights in the symbol of the Olympic rings and with people with megaphones as sort of a warm up.

And then in the distance, the flame from Mt. Olympus could be seen, from about 50 yards is was visible, and surprisingly big - the plume of the flame was a good 18" to two feet.

Slowly, but relentlessly, the flame and runner went by. It was dark at 6 oclock here as it passed and the pictures are not great. You can see it briefly, coming and going, in the last two photos.
