Traditionally used in icon painting ths results in s rich paint best used for decorating small objects.
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon natural pigment
Carefully put the egg yoke on a paper towel and let it dry for 5 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl. Using your fingers carefully pinch the yolk sac and remove it. Gradually add the pigment in small amounts using a brush.
Paint with a fine artists brush. Work quickly as it will form a skin fairly rapidly. Dries in an hour or two but will take several days to harden completly. Not washable. Washes up with warm soapy water.
