Somewhere between 2023 and 2026 tinned fish became a fashion trend. A couple of years ago a cheap fin of fish was under a dollar and was predictably, uh, "course" shall we say. Now foodies have glommed onto $25 importes tins of things other than sardines - scallops, mussels, garfish, dace and jars or octopus tentacles are de rigeur in the daily Instagram lunch wars.
