Richard J. Sexton is the founder and owner in 1994 of VRx, a research and
development center for systems and biological sciences. A Unix programmer
since the seventies and Internet user since the eighties, he has had a
impact on net culture and policy and in 1996 lead a group that initiated
the development of new top level domain names and has spent the last 20
years working on software that organizes information on the web in a
similar way that the human brain does via the adaptive self organization
hypothesis. A prolific writer he can be found in newspapers, magazines,
on television and in person speaking on a number of subject, primarily
domain name, computers and aquatic sciences.
