US troops operating (illegally) in Syria tried to block Russian patrol despite being warned, Moscow says, after vehicles collide
The Russian Defense Ministry has said that US troops involved in a dangerous incident in Syria were informed beforehand of a military convoy moving into the area – but deliberately blocked its path, prompting a Russian response.
It's worth remembering that the Russian military is in Syria legally, under international law, whereas the American presence is illegal. Damascus did not attack the US, nor did it invite Washington to send troops.
Reports of Russians staging a "violent" fracas deep in northeastern Syria have been doing the rounds in US/UK media since Wednesday, when Politico first broke the news. Citing the customary anonymous sources, the outlet reported that four US military personnel had been injured when a Russian armored vehicle rammed an American one, leaving crew members with a "concussion-like" trauma.

Henry Lowendorf: What we saw in Syria goes against everything we read in the United States
Patterns have long since emerged. We know that each illegal war of conquest is prefaced by a Public Relations campaign that demonizes the target country’s leader and its government as it lies about on-the-ground realities. Muammar Gaddafi, for example, was presented to Western media consumers as a lunatic and despot. The Western narratives, however, were contradicted by the fact that he earned broad-based support from Libyans, all of whom enjoyed public services such as free healthcare and schooling, and a high standard of living.
The same demonization campaign is being waged against the hugely popular Dr. Bashar al-Assad, the democratically –elected President of Syria.
Terrorist –embedded propagandists teach us that he is an evil dictator who kills his own people, and that “he must go”; however, credible evidence inverts this logic.
Henry Lowendorf, a member of the Executive Board of the U.S Peace Council’s Peace and Fact-Finding Delegation to Syria -- recently returned from Syria -- reports, that, “What we saw (in Syria) goes against everything we read in the United States.”

When is a hospital not a hospital?
The claim: At least 13 people including medical staff were killed when Russian warplanes struck a field hospital in northwestern Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Wednesday.
The reality:
1) The "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" is one guy. "Rami Abdel Rahman, who is admittedly sympathetic to those seeking the division and destruction of Syria. Rami Abdel Rahman is also based in the UK, so is not actually “observing” anything in Syria. He himself has been observed coordinating his activities with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London."
2)"The “clinic” in question was allegedly run by the Syrian-American Medical Society (SAMS), which according to their website is a multi-million dollar US-based NGO, provided with full support by the US State Department. Upon SAMS’ website is even a video by US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Powers, hailing SAMS as one of her “personal heroes.”
SAMS has played an instrumental role in using its alleged medical work to support terrorist organizations seeking to divide and destroy Syria and help disseminate propaganda peddled by the US State Department itself in attacking and undermining the credibility of the Syrian government in Damascus. This includes repeating the State Department’s unfounded narratives regarding “barrel bombs” and the use of “chlorine gas” by the Syrian government.
Telling however, is even those from this organization apparently drawn upon by the Western media have not mentioned Russia as perpetrating the bombing. AFP’s article would cite a SAMS staff member stating:
“Our initial reports from the ground show that we have lost two hospital staff, a physiotherapist and a nurse,” the staffer said in an emailed statement.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, she did not specify whether the strikes were conducted by Russian warplanes.
This unconvincing narrative was quickly augmented by the Western media with other “strikes.” The number quickly went from 1 to 3, then 4, and then up to 7 – 7 hospitals allegedly struck by Russian warplanes, all according to the same handful of Western-backed fronts, echoed by an increasingly discredited Western media.

US ‘attempted to coax Syrian air defenses’ to shoot down Iranian airliner: ambassador
BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 P.M.) – The Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, ‘Ali ‘Abdul-Karim, told Iran’s Al-Alam TV on Saturday that the U.S. attempted to coax the Syrian air defenses into shooting down the Iranian airliner in the Homs Governorate last Thursday, July 23rd.
“This game failed to confuse the Syrian defensive and radar systems; thus, this dirty and dangerous game yielded negative results for its perpetrators,” ‘Abdul-Karim said in his accusation.
“So far, it has been known that the fighter jets belonged to the U.S., but, it doesn’t matter since they both are in the same position,” he added.
‘Abdul-Karim did not provide any more details regarding his claim.
The Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations, Dr. Bashar Al-Ja’afari, condemned the U.S.’ interception of the Iranian airliner on Saturday, calling it a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and purposeful attempt to down the aircraft.

"no evidence" that the Syrian government used the banned nerve agent Sarin against its own people.
Newsweek, ON 2/8/18 AT 11:44 AM EST
Lost in the hyper-politicized hullabaloo surrounding the Nunes Memorandum and the Steele Dossier was the striking statement by Secretary of Defense James Mattis that the U.S. has "no evidence" that the Syrian government used the banned nerve agent Sarin against its own people.

US Finally Admits “No Evidence” Assad Used Sarin Gas
Secretary of Defense James Mattis stated on or about February 2nd, 2018 that the United States has “no evidence” that the Syrian government used the banned nerve agent Sarin against its own people in attacks in 2013 and 2017.

New York Times Fakes The Record About Arming The Syrian Rebels
The New York Times claim that only "a few of those" who now fight the YPG Kurds took part in the U.S. programs is a blatant lie.
The NYT piece quotes three 'experts' who testify that the 'rebels' the U.S. had armed are really, really bad:
“These are the misfits of the conflict, the worst of the worst,” said Hassan Hassan, a Syrian-born scholar tracking the fighting. “They have been notorious for extortion, theft and banditry, more like thugs than rebels — essentially mercenaries.”
It was Hassan Hassan who since the start of the conflict lobbied for arming the rebels from his perch at the UAE's media flagship The National.
Another 'expert' quoted is the Israeli propagandist Elizabeth Tsurkov:
“They are basically gangsters, but they are also racist toward Kurds and other minorities,” said Elizabeth Tsurkov, a fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. “No human should be subjected to their rule.”
Tsurkov earlier lauded the Israeli hiring and arming of the very same 'Syrian rebels'.

How rock star Roger Waters was hung out to dry by Amnesty and Bellingcat for his views on Syrian ‘chemical attack’
Waters said: “Why am I an appropriate person? Because I’ve been a great advocate for human rights all my life. The White Helmets were clearly involved in something really dodgy. Amnesty has never come out and said, ‘It’s been brought to our attention the video the White Helmets made in Douma was absolutely fake.’
“Doctors there have said not only were there no deaths that we know about that day, but the people in the hospital were complaining of dust inhalation, not being gassed. Do you still believe that video, do you believe that was real?”

OPCW head FALSELY described Syria whistleblower inspectors to discredit them, new documents show
New documents leaked from the global chemical watchdog show that two inspectors blowing the whistle about the 2018 Douma incident in Syria were right, and the director seeking to discredit them was wrong.
Two inspectors with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) have challenged the organization’s final report on the April 2018 incident, which they say was altered to dismiss their findings and validate after the fact the US, UK and French missile strikes against the government in Damascus.
OPCW Director General Fernando Arias responded earlier this year by describing them as “rogue” inspectors who weren’t even members of the mission. Documents obtained by investigative journalist Aaron Mate at Greyzone, however, show that Arias’ statements were false or misleading.
