Note also she decommissioned the server after it was allegedly hacked by the Romanian "Guccifer" (who among others, Putin ended up with them)

He basically argued that he couldn't prove intent (which is not required for gross negligence) while giving information that indicated intent.

It's been said she has been cleared of all charged by the FBI. It's the justice department that decides to charge people, not the FBI and even if she was cleared why are they still grilling her for hours?

Here Clinton claims in this video of her that she never sent a classified email. Maybe not but she received them. It's not the sending or receiving that's the issue, it's the fact these classified documents where not stored according to the rules of classified documents, ie the official secrets act. She's in violation, period.

According to the FBI one of the reasons Petraeus was charged is he lied to the FBI (you can get 5 years for that).

Hillary lied to everyone. That's not a crime though apparently.

"Guccifer" a Romanian hacker, took some or all of her email 2013. How matter how you slide and dice the legal semantics the bottom line is our secretary of state didn't treat classified material by the rules and it was hacked by foreign agents.

This is why we have those rules Ms. Clinton. You'll notice they didn't get anybody elses.

When mere mortals did what Clinton did they are found guilty. There is an assumption of greater care in the legal system for people who hold power, they're supposed to avoid even the appearance of impropriety. In a less corrupts legal system she would be found guilty here.

It's not like anybody wants her in front of a firing squad, just recognition she did something stupid that there are laws against.

A lot, it turns out.

Clinton said, regarding her State Department email practices, "my predecessors did the same thing."

This is a misleading claim chiefly because only one prior secretary of state regularly used email, Colin Powell. Powell did use a personal email address for government business, however he did not use a private server kept at his home, as Clinton did.
