"DNS wars" is a term I'm apparantly given credit for by Craig Simon in his dissertation about that event in history. I'd coined the phrase because I saw an ascii-art graphic of the famous "Star Wars" rollin sequence and had spent a night editing it so it said "DNS Wars" instead so in the morning when everybody logged into their unix shells half their screen was this giant ascii art graphic. Hilarity ensued.
