William Palmateer: Music great weather miserable
Bruce Clarke: It was wet and cold. Mediocre performances by The Band and CSNY. Jesse Colin Young was mostly forgettable. I'd like to say it was great but it just wasn't.
Joe Curtis: It was an incredible day. I was there. It was raining, and I held an open newspaper over my head, and not caring at all about the rain, like it wasn't there. Just a phenomenal concert.
Bill Samuel: I was in the audience. I mostly remember being rained on... a lot.
