In 1945 Bulova produced the 13AK movement, which was a rebranded Valjoux calibre 22. These smallsh chronographs were had flat pushers and were cased in gold, gold fill or steel.

Launched as the "Statesman" in 1946 but transitioned into the "His Excellency" lineup by 1947.
