Ostensibly buts the background out of an image. In practive it takes an hour long manual process down to 50 minutes. That is it's far from automatic and takes some skill, but it does save sime time. Just not that much.
File format converter.
Image DNA. Upload a picture and it pulls the dominant colors out for a palette. Quite slick.
Lunapic. A capable lightweight image editor.
Online image editor - converts file format, crop, resize, add text and pre-canned grahics. Works with animated gifs.
Picture editor. Very competent. If you know Russian.
Called "Photoshop" but It doesn't appear to have anything to do with Adobe. It's just a reskinned pixlr with tutorials.
PNG editor. Impressive in many ways.

Flash. Slick.

Free, but only works on faces, cars and products. Probably made from old cruise missile software.
