Applications that let you do things with, and to, photographs.

Large number of effects in this very competent photomanipulation program.

wow
LookWow Photo enhancement.

Photo enhancement and manipulation of portraits and faces. Cheaper than cosmetic surgery.

Effects tool

Applies effects to image. If you want to add a border of roses to a photo or instagram your lunch into glowing nuclear waste, this is what you want. Does a lot of text stuff - memes, cards, etc, too. Max. horizontal resolution, about 1500 pixels. Useless with 5MB camera images.

tp://funny.pho.to

funny.pho.to - takes an existing picture and superimposes it into any number of silly things: car hoods, coffee mugs, rainbows and clouds. Probably unicorns too, but I haven't the stomach to go through it all.

tp://fotoflexer.com

Online image editing. Flash. Upload well done. Went through the motions of resizing a large picture but it wouldn't give me a jpg to save. I'm not sure they tested it in Opera and I'm not interested in finding a browser it works with.

tp://pixenate.com

Photo Image manipulation. Doesn't handle large pictures well. Written in Perl, available for sale to use on your own website, for several hundred dollars.

fx

Apply special effects to images already on the web. Some are quite slick. Others are just plain retarded. That's the web for you. Shrinks "huge" images automatically without warning, so useless for editing large images.

Do fun things with photos. Minimal unicorns. A lot like Instagram filters.

tp://blingee.com

Does just what you think. Unicorn alert.

tp://www.pizap.com

Seems to be the digital version of scrapbooking. Unicorns abound.

tp://www.drpic.com/

Reasonable simple photo editor. Seems to be safe for grownups (no unicorns, ponies or rainbows). Does NOT work in Opera. Crop, annotate, tune colors, precanned photo effects.

tp://www.loonapix.com

A large number of bizarre things you can do with a photograph, ie. make it appear it's on a billboard or on the hood of a car.

tp://www.dumpr.net

More things to virtually "paste" photographs onto.

tp://pixlr.com/editor

Seems to do most of what early versions of lview and paint shop pro did. That is, it's not photoshop, but you almost certainly do 80% of what you need to do with this at the vest least.

tp://anymaking.com/photo-shadow-editor

Rather good - it's useful if nothing else for dropshadows although there are other sigle purpose tools too. Flash.
