Any berry and many fruits will work here: mango is especially good. Note that although this has whipped cream in it, if you use cocao and coffee powder it makes a pretty credible mousse without a whole carton of eggs. Basically this recipe, which comes from France, is a custard, with pureed fruit and whipped cream added.
