Subject: Invitation to my conference, PC Forum, March 25 to 28

Dear Richard Sexton,

I am writing to invite you to this year's PC Forum(www.pcforum2001.com), March 25 to 28,
at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort in Arizona.

PC Forum (for Plaforms for Communication) focuses on the trends and business models of the
IT/Internet marketplace, with speakers and attendees from both leading companies and
startups. Our participants include entrepreneurs, VCs, press, analysts and some corporate
end-users.

In its 24th year, the Forum is well-known as the industry's leading event in a market that
has become overcrowded. We routinely get our participants to stretch their minds and to
think about the industry strategically and analytically.

The Forum attracts more than 600 of the IT/communications industry's leading players. It is
focused on the industry itself, not on its customers. That is, people here are trying to
sell ideas (or companies), rather than products. It is also uniquely interactive; the
panel discussions are real *discussions,* and often include people from the audience who
are typically speakers at other events. Overall, those attending will be your potential
partners, suppliers, resellers, competitors, analysts...

Why should you come this year? At last year's Forum, we warned against hype and fuzzy vision.

*This* year is a welcome change, demanding candor and clarity. We are eager to join you
and your colleagues in getting the most out of this new spirit. After a period of
posturing and vagueness, we can now get down to business.

With renewed attention to the creation of genuine business value and a crowd of newly
"seasoned" entrepreneurs, this is a great time to be in business.

To register, please visit www.pcforum2001.com. As in the past, registration is filling
up fast. We expect to sell out, so sign up now. Or please write to me with any questions.

See you in Scottsdale,
Esther

If you would prefer not to hear from us, please send an email to scott@edventure.com and
we will be sure to remove you from our list.
