It is of course instructive to look at actual numbers: facts matter and the fact is since the introduction of the testbed new TLDs in 2000 and the UDRP the number of cybersquatting cases per 1000 domain names has dropped. One could almost argue that the introduction of new TLDs suggests a decrease in cybersquatting.
